Insurance Coverage
Understanding insurance coverage can be confusing and overwhelming (even for us, at times!), but that shouldn’t stop you from receiving the care you need. We help our patients identify their individual coverage and, from there, develop an appropriate and accessible plan of care, regardless of any potential coverage restrictions.

MEDICARE
Medicare will not cover: Initial Assessment / Additional Therapies, including trigger point release, therapeutic massage, electric stimulation, etc. There is an additional form to sign when in the office, required by Medicare. It is called an Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN) of non-covered services that will further explain coverage information.
If you don’t have a supplemental insurance, Medicare will only cover 80% of the covered services, meaning you will have a 20% co-insurance on those services.
If you have a supplemental insurance, most of the time your supplemental insurance will cover the 20% co-insurance but will not cover the additional therapies as stated above. This would require you to pay out of pocket should you choose to utilize those therapies. More on this information is included in the ABN.
*Some treatments/therapies may not be covered by your insurance and may result in an out-of-pocket expense to cover the difference. While these enhance the benefits of chiropractic adjustments, you always have the option to opt out of these treatments.
