Chiropractic Services
Think of chiropractic care like building any structure: Your body needs a solid foundation of health to function optimally. We’ll help you achieve improvement through three phases, carefully tailoring each to your needs—from easing pain to increasing range of motion to boosting your immune system, just to name a few!
While these are the general phases of chiropractic care, your precise path will vary depending on your pain points and needs. Or perhaps you don’t have a specific issue and are in good health overall. You simply want to keep it that way with regular adjustments to prevent future injury, maintain/improve flexibility, and reduce tension. Whatever your wellness goals are, we’ll create a tailored plan to help you reach them.
OUR CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENTS
You’ve heard of an adjustment, but what other chiropractic treatments do we use? Depending on your needs, we may use one or a combination of the following methods:
-
Also known as a correction, the chiropractor uses their hands or a special instrument to apply a controlled force to your joints to:
Improve spinal alignment and range of motion
Improve brain-to-body communication
Reduce pain
Improve overall function
-
Fascia is the connective tissue that covers and supports your muscles. This hands-on technique uses pressure and stretching to:
Relieve tension and pain in tight, restricted muscles and fascia
Improve blood flow to the muscles
-
This type of therapy uses exercise, stretching and dynamic movements based on your individual needs and goals to:
Increase range of motion and flexibility
Boost strength
Reduce pain
Improve overall function
-
Also known as electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), this therapy uses mild electrical currents to stimulate muscles and nerves. It can be used to:
Strengthen weakened muscles
Reduce pain
Increase range of motion
Calm muscle spasms
Aid in faster recovery from sports injuries
Increase blood circulation
-
This non-invasive treatment uses sound waves to penetrate soft tissues and is often used for injuries, muscle spasms, and chronic issues. It helps to:
Relieve pain
Improve circulation
Promote tissue healing
Improve tissue biomechanics and elasticity
-
During cryotherapy, your chiropractor applies a cold compress to the affected area for a short period of time to numb it. This often helps alleviate:
Pain
Inflammation
Muscle spasms
-
Thermotherapy uses heat to increase blood flow to the treated area, reducing pain and inflammation and promoting healing. It is effective for:
Muscle pain and spasms
Arthritis
Joint pain
Menstrual cramps
Circulation problems

WHAT TO EXPECT
-
Phase 1: Relief Care
Our chiropractic services first focus on relieving your pain, inflammation, and discomfort through chiropractic adjustments, which help restore proper alignment to the spine and other joints.
The Goal
We start by addressing immediate pain and issues inhibiting your everyday life to prevent them from worsening and prepare your body for long-term improvements.
How often do I need to come in?
The frequency of your visits will vary depending on the severity of your pain, but typically, you’ll see your chiropractor 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.
-
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
Next, we focus on correcting the underlying problems that led to your initial pain. This may involve a combination of chiropractic adjustments, exercises, and lifestyle changes.
The Goal
Corrective chiropractic care focuses on uncovering the root of the problem and taking steps to help your body heal naturally, reducing the likelihood of future recurrence.
How often do I need to come in?
Again, this will vary, but it’s common to receive 4-8 chiropractic treatments per month for 4-12 months.
-
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has healed, we’ll maintain your health and strength with periodic adjustments. Chiropractic adjustments might be combined with myofascial release (i.e., muscle work) and other relevant treatments.
The Goal
Regular adjustments and ongoing care will help prevent future problems, keep your body strong, and ensure you feel your best for years to come!
How often do I need to come in?
Visits will vary based on your lifestyle and goals, but wellness care typically involves 1-4 visits per month.
